Custom Liturgical Vestments

These vestments were made using Elizabeth Morgan's patterns found on her Church Linens & Vestments website. The stoles are made with Elizabeth's "set-back method" which gives a very tailored and finished appearance.

Red Chasuble
This chasuble is made of red dupioni silk embellished with gold cording, red glass beads, gold metallic thread and various translucent and opaque fabric. It is a bright red that can be worn at Pentecost and ordination.

Purple Chasuble
This chasuble is made of purple or eggplant matka silk. Matka silk has a linen like weave but does not wrinkle like linen and drapes softly. The orphrey or decorative placket down the front of the chasuble is made of embroidered squares and fabric that came from an embroidered, Santa Fe jacket. It has crosses hand embroidered on some of the fabric squares.

Gold Chasuble
This chasuble is made of gold dupioni silk and the design uses various size pearls and silver bugle beads. The beads and pearls cascade down and off the end of three gold dupioni panels that reference the Trinity. The bugle beads reflect the light of the pearls suggesting light and living water. As Linda celebrates wearing this chasuble, you see a subtle but beautiful reflection of light with each movement.




Green Chasuble
This chasuble is made of green dupioni silk. The orphrey or front panel is also made of dupioni silk with silver bugle beads outlining the three crosses. This is worn during Ordinary Time.


Red Chasuble
This chasuble is made of red dupioni silk. The front design is suggestive of the fire symbolizing the Holy Spirit. It is made of gold metallic trim and red and silver bugle beads. The color is a bright red that can be worn at Pentecost and ordination.


Purple Chasuble
This chasuble is made of purple dupioni silk. The orphrey or front panel is dupioni silk. The design uses three strands of silk ribbon with small brass bells reminiscent of the small gold bells that were part of the High Priest's attire when ministering in the Holy Place of the Tabernacle or Temple.

This stole is made of red dupioni silk using gold cording, red glass beads, gold metallic thread and various translucent and opaque fabrics for the design.

Made of purple or eggplant matka silk using embroidered fabric squares from the same Santa Fe jacket for the offset design panels.

Gold Priest's Stole
Made of gold dupioni silk. The design panels are dupioni silk outlined with brown metallic bugle beads to add an element of light to the stole.
Red Priest's Stole
Made of red dupioni silk. The design symbolizes fire and the Holy Spirit using gold trim and red and silver bugle beads.
Green Priest's Stole
Made of dupioni silk in emerald green and a spectrum of other dupioni colors. The crosses are outlined with silver bugle beads.

Purple Priest's Stole
Made of dupioni silk in emerald green and a spectrum of other dupioni colors. The design uses three strands of silk ribbon with small brass bells reminiscent of the small gold bells that were part of the High Priest's attire when ministering in the Holy Place of the Tabernacle or Temple

Green Deacon's Stole
Made of muted green tweed with three hemp cords.
Gold Deacon's Stole
Gold dupioni silk with silver bugle beads and tiny silver beads. 

Red Deacon's Stole
Red dupioni silk with old intricately designed trim using gold threads and beads.


Red Priest's Stole
Red dupioni silk with bugle beads.
