Made from dupioni silk embellished with bugle beads and metallic tape for the cross. The three banners as well as the three pronged design symbolizes the Trinity. The design is a nod the Van Gogh’s Starry, Starry Night painting.
These banners are made of dupioni silk embellished with gold bugle beads. The design represents the crown of thorns and the three banners symbolize the presence of the Trinity at Calvary.
The Baptismal Font cloth follows the focus on the crucifixion. The image on the cloth is called a “staurogram”. It is an ancient symbol used by early Christians when writing about the crucifixion or cross of Christ. The staurogram, a combination of the Greek letters tau and rho, looks like a human figure hanging on a cross.
